KA210 Migrant Integration through Digital Heritage and AI Support

On January 19th, the innovative European Erasmus+ program entitled “Migrant Integration through Digital Heritage and AI Support” was launched, with the first transnational meeting of the partners taking place at the CEIP Sant Miquel school, in the greater Valencia region in Spain.

The 9th Primary School of Mytilene was represented by teachers Eleni Gyrelli and Aikaterini Giannakou. The CEIP Sant Miquel school from Spain, the Agrupamento de Escolas Alberto Sampaio from Portugal, as well as the KAIZEN Intercultural Communication and Educational Research Association from Turkey also participate in the program, forming a dynamic network of European cooperation.

The goal of the program is to strengthen the integration of migrants through digital heritage and artificial intelligence. During the meeting, the participants defined the axes of cooperation and planned the next stages of the program’s implementation, as well as the creation of innovative teaching materials. This material aims to enhance intercultural education, dialogue and meaningful learning, transforming diversity into a source of knowledge and creativity.

The 9th Primary School of Mytilene, with a reception class and several students with a migrant background, is expected to benefit in many ways from its participation in the program. Through international cooperation, teachers will strengthen their skills in modern pedagogical approaches, while students will have the opportunity to participate in actions that promote acceptance, empathy and active participation in the school and social environment.

The participation of the 9th Primary School of Mytilene in the Erasmus+ KA210 program is another essential step towards an open, inclusive and future-oriented school. Through collaboration, innovation and the power of technology, education is transformed into a bridge between cultures, giving all students equal opportunities to learn and create, in a Europe that evolves and coexists through diversity.
